Chinese men are sloppy dressers and don't care at all about their appearance compared to their male counterparts in countries across Asia.
This was the assessment made by Zhao Lingmin a media professional, on the looks of Chinese men whom she said haven't left entirely their rural upbringing including the way they dress.

Lingmin's posts have started an online furor when she posted that Chinese men look like " college students newly enrolled from rural China."
Lingmin pointed out that Chinese men don't care at all about their appearance, with some having long fingernails and oily, disheveled hair. Linmin added that many of them have poor personal hygiene.
Zhao said male students coming from across Asia and who have spent a great deal of time abroad dress smarter and exercise good manners more often than their Chinese male counterparts.
Lingmin said this affects all Chinese men, whether they are rich or poor, and in all age groups.
Zhao said photos of Chinese couples in Shanghai showed that Chinese women were impeccably dressed while the Chinese men beside them looked more like their servants.
Chinese men, when they reach middle age, stop taking care of their personal hygiene and are usually overweight and have a receding hairline. Zhao argued.
A significant reason for the Chinese men's poor appearance is the fast-paced life in the city, with most men still retaining their rural living where they are given the most attention, being the male member in the family.
Another reason given by Zhao is that these Chinese men idolize those in power who happen to be males. Mostly, they are arrogant and rude brought on by so much wealth, and have no manners at all.
