The life of former Disney princess, Selena Gomez, has not been the fairy tale she had hoped it would be. Since her breakup with Canadian crooner, Justin Bieber, Gomez has had a share of rumors and scandals. Now, the 22-year old singer opens up about her life so far and why she's become so "untrusting."

It's been a few months since "Selenators" have heard from Gomez. Luckily, the songstress has decided to release a new single which she worked on along with A$AP Rocky, which is entitled "Good For You." In an interview with Elvis Duran on Z100, the singer spoke of inspiration for the song and all things in between.
"I think that this song represents the confidence that I truly have inside of me, and I think it's the vulnerable side that I've expressed, but it's also the combination of just feeling myself," shared Gomez in a report by People, adding, "It's good!"
Apart from talking about her latest single, Gomez also talked about her "trust issues." For the 22-year old singer, she finds it hard to open up to people about how she feels - save for a few close friends.
"You can't talk about anything that you want to share with people because it's going to be ripped apart, and that's what makes me really sad," explained Gomez, adding, "I don't trust anyone ... It's something that I have to live with and I have to find the balance of who I want in my life and who isn't good for me."
Fans would be quick to assume that Gomez's' trust issues stem from her breakup with Bieber and her roller coaster friendship with the Jenner sisters, Kylie and Kendall. As for her longtime friend, Demi Lovato, Gomez has mentioned nothing about her in the interview. Gomez did however mention BFF, Taylor Swift, who reportedly is trying to turn her into a cat lady.
"I don't have a cat yet, don't make me a cat lady yet," said Gomez in a interview with US Magazine, adding, "Taylor [Swift]'s trying to convince me to get one."
While Gomez may find it hard to trust people in the same business as her, she finds no difficulty in placing her trust in her fans. This of course is a great thing for her "Selenators."
