After playing the world's greatest detective Sherlock Holmes and genius billionaire playboy philanthropist Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr. will play the World's Greatest Con Man, Phillip Kitzer Jr.

Team Downey, along with Warner Bros., acquired the movie rights to the nonfiction book "Chasing Phil: The World's Greatest Con Man, Two Undercover FBI Agents, and Their Amazing Around the World Adventure" authored by David Howard, Variety reported.

Team Downey, a production studio owned by Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey, will reportedly produce the nonfiction book, which follows the investigation of Phil Kitzer, a charismatic and intelligent criminal orchestrating numerous multimillion dollar schemes and the ring leader of "The Fraternity." Screen Crush reported that the biopic will be a "Wolf of Wall Street" meets "Goodfellas," and with that, fans can already assume how the movie will turn out to be.

Though it is still to be confirmed, Empire Online reported that the "Iron Man" star will play the role of Phil Kitzer, despite the fact that the actor is currently busy with "Captain America: Civil War," which is due out April next year. As a producer for Team Downey, he and his wife are busy with a bunch of other projects, such as "Pinocchio" and yet-unnamed shark story of the USS Indianapolis.

From the brief alone, fans already know that Robert Downey Jr. will fill in the role of Kitzer perfectly, as he has for other highly charismatic roles like Holmes and Tony Stark. As a producer, Team Downey is still fairly untested, with only "The Judge" as their existing movie. However, the slew of projects the production company has lined up just shows how movies are slowly lining up for them. Downey has been tried and tested as an actor; with Team Downey, the couple's strength as producers will soon be seen as well.
