Does he really plan to quit singing?
Eason Chan recently shocked everyone with an announcement that he's leaving the music industry after two years, making his fans wonder what could be the reasons.
Chan at the age of 39 has debuted in the industry for 19 years and now, fans wonder, has he decided to just give it all up?

Last year, Chan's album sold less than a thousand copies because people now prefer to download songs online, which has a direct impact on album sales.
He released his album entitled "Rise & Shine" this year, and is scheduled to release two more under Cinepoly Records.
But fans wondered if he really were serious about quitting.
Eason Chan broke his silence regarding this issue, and clarified that what he said was he wanted to slow down a little, and kind of spread out his work in order to produce better outputs.
Chan added that he is having problems with concert schedules this year, and that's the reason why he's stopping doing concerts, but only temporary. He said he needed to rest since he's not had any break since 2007.
Chan added that he never said that he's quitting, ang made it clear that he does not intend to leave his singing career. Not just yet.
The artist's life in the industry has been in the spotlight for years, and in 2012 became the first-ever Chinese artist to perform at the 02 arena in London. Tickets for that concert ran out after 20 minutes, and the live stream even crashed web servers.
