According to InfoQ, the use of container technology has risen to a significant number of users, and InfoQ is keeping an eye on several developers such as CoreOS, Docker, Kubernetes and Mesos. Start up container technologies are also rising and making the effort to compete globally.
The full extent of small enterprises that is using the services of these storages have reportedly brought so much attention to the container technology hub to develop and support more providers of the said service. The CNUT container technology aims to provide services and information about the storage and container technologies to current, start-ups and possible investors in the said technology.
Huawei's technical expert Wang Yang said that they did discuss about the connection between existing container technology and traditional virtual technology. It is said that the latter is more focused and intended for resources' rational distribution such as improving utilization while the former is more of an application-oriented. He added that infrastructure resources should still adopt traditional virtual technology while container technology should be opt for use in packaging and division.
Cui Yubao, chief architect from Mi, however, said that the Chinese' technological influence to international partners is not enough to create a breakthrough and that it is important to create a structured planning in order to conquer the international market.
ZDNet, on the other hand, recently featured Docker's breakthrough on container technology with enterprise data center and cloud virtualization.
