Former Disney star Shia Le Beouf received injuries on set after a stunt went south while filming his latest project, "American Honey," somewhere in North Dakota.
The publicist of the 29-year-old actor said that he was injured late last night while performing a stunt that went wrong, and Reuters reported that LeBeouf immediately received medical attention, having both of his hands and head stitched.

The actor was supposed to put his head through a window for a scene, and People reported that this caused the cut in both his head and his index finger. This is not the first time the actor had his hands operated on; back in 2008, he had surgery for his hand after sustaining injuries from a car accident.
Shia LeBeouf has been gaining clout in recent weeks after his art project became an overnight Internet meme that has been edited into different videos, including a TED Talk.
The injuries are quite minimal and will not delay production, with TIME reporting that the shooting will resume Thursday when the actor is expected to return.
"American Honey" is a movie about a teenage girl who joins a group of cross-country travelers who sell magazines and do their part of partying and lawbreaking, where Shia LeBeouf is joined by Arielle Holmes and McCaul Lombardi, both fairly unknown actors in contrast to LeBeouf's existing credentials. Spearheading the project is Andrea Arnold, an Academy Award winner for a short film back in 2005, the live-action flick "The Wasp." Her other movies include "Red Road," "Fish Tank," and "Wuthering Heights."
Though more known for his roles as Sam Witwicky in the "Transformers" franchise, Shia Lebeouf did manage to escape the bonds of Hollywood stereotyping and has since experimented with other film genres, like the two volumes of "Nymphomaniac" back in 2013 and "Fury" in 2014. "American Honey" can develop into an amazing movie, and with the directorial authority of Andrea Arnold, this is not too far from happening.
