With numerous picks in the 2015 NBA Draft, Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge reportedly wants the team to leverage them to move up in the upcoming draft on Thursday.

Boston possesses four draft picks this year - nos. 16 and 28 in the first round and 33 and 45 in the second - and Ainge was not silent that he wants to utilize every one of them to possibly move up in the order of selection.

Ainge, a former Celtic himself, revealed that they are planning to swap both or at least one of their two first-rounders to draft earlier in the evening, as per Bleacher Report. He believes there is going to be "some movement" on draft night and he hopes that the team could acquire the young talents that they want.

"We think there's going to be a lot of activity on draft night. So stay tuned," Ainge enthusiastically told reporters, which is a rare occurrence these days. "Our draft pick may have been traded before we even make the pick. I'm excited about the draft, it's going to be a fun day."

The Boston Globe indicated that Ainge is intending to move up as far as the top 10, where they have a high probability of selecting any of their primary targets which include Kentucky's Willie Cauley-Stein, Texas' Myles Turner, or Kentucky's Trey Lyles.

Both Cauley-Stein and Turner are expected to beef up Brad Steven's lightweight frontline that is spearheaded by undersized power forward Jared Sullinger. Standing only at 6-foot-9 and weighing 260 pounds, Sullinger led the Celtics in blocks last season with 0.7 a game. It was obviously not enough for them to stand a chance against league-leading offenses.

Meanwhile, NESN reported that Ainge has high hopes to build a young core for the Celtics this coming season and that the process will begin on Thursday's draft. He particularly mentioned his young players Marcus Smart, Kelly Olynyk, and Tyler Zeller have improved a lot since last year and they are out to step up their games this coming season.

Ainge intimated that because of their youthful roster, the team is having a hard time enticing 2015 draftees for pre-draft workouts as they deem the Celtics loaded with young and good talents already.
