Her album sales have reached a whopping 40 million globally, and her success has not stopped since she entered the music industry at fourteen years old.

Her latest album, "1989," has sold over 1.3 million copies in the United States just after the first week of its release. It has become the highest-selling album since 2002, and in 2014, it is the only album to have gone platinum.

To date, total sales of "1989" have reached eight million globally, making it the highest-selling album of 2014 and 2015, according to the Global Times.

Singles from "1989" have also become favorites worldwide.

In 2014, two singles from the platinum album became no. 1 at Billboard's Hot 100 chart. And just recently, one of its singles, "Bad Blood," became no. 1 for four consecutive weeks.
