E! Taiwan Launches on July 1; What’s in Store for Hollywood’s Taiwan Fans?

E! Taiwan will be launching soon. The July 1 launch of E! Entertainment Television, the pop culture powerhouse owned by NBC Universal International Networks, is the first for the linear and OTT platforms of the market.
E! is popularly known as the home of hit reality series like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills."

With the E! Taiwan launch, the 1.28 million subscribers of local Taiwanese cable TV providers CNS, OTT channel aggregator FTV, and mobile TV platform Asia Pacific Telecom will be getting first access to the famous channel.
E! Taiwan does not only come in English. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBCUniversal International Networks has announced that the channel will also come with Chinese subtitles.
With the E! Taiwan launch, the country now joins the 160 countries worldwide where the channel is offered, cited tvnews4u.com.
E! is most famous for its pop culture news, featuring topics that captivate audiences around the world and that no one is immune to: celebrities, trends, TV, movies, music, fashion, art, nightlife, technology, design, philanthropy and even sports.
"As the leading destination for pop culture and one of our portfolio's iconic global brands, the launch of E! in Taiwan marks an important milestone for NBCUniversal's International footprint in the Asia-Pacific region," said NBCUniversal International Networks Asia-Pacific's Managing Director, Christine Fellowes.
"We are delighted that viewers in Taiwan can now enjoy E!'s exclusive content offerings, featuring up-to-the-minute Hollywood news, the most talked-about reality entertainment and fascinating profiles of the hottest A-list celebrities," she added.
For the month of July, E! Taiwan will offer a host of programming highlights that will capture the attention of audiences. They include "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and "#RichKids of Beverly Hills" encores as well as the channel's flagship daily showbiz bulletin show, E! News, which airs Tuesday to Sunday at 8:00 p.m., reported Multichannel News.
There are also new shows set for July on E! Taiwan. New series include "Stewarts & Hamiltons" on Tuesday, July 28 at 9:00 p.m., featuring the combined families of Alana Stewart and ex-husband George Hamilton.
On Friday, July 10 at 9:00 p.m. is also the premiere of brand-new show "Hollywood Cycle," which shows an insider look on the world of Los Angeles's Cycle House, a highly competitive indoor cycling territory.
