The agreement between the two parties includes exchanges of public health experts, doctors, and even researchers to work hand-on-hand. They also strengthen their team by providing scientists who help them with the advancement and who will contribute great knowledge about cardiovascular health.
What is cardiovascular?
Cardiovascular disease based on the report of World Health Organization could have heart attacks as well as strokes. These are the top reason of premature death not only in China but in other developing countries too. In the studies conducted, cardiovascular disease causes around 17 million deaths every year around the world. Such number of deaths could also go up from 17 million to 23 million within 15 years. This is also the reason why China is doing their best to protect their people.
On the other hand, United States saved lives by 30% because of their advancement in medical science as well as education. They help Americans to prevent premature death from happening through proper training of CPR as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The latter can possibly restart even a stopped heart.
"By training more people in CPR, more lives can be saved," AHA stated. They also said that by giving proper training to people in certain country can also save a life of other people in different country.
"We believe that together we can change that by creating a world of life savers, a world where everyone can live a healthier and longer life," AHA international chairman, Douglas Boyle said while speaking in a ceremony in Washington.
It was Wang Zhigang, China Ministry of Science and Technology, called United States to be the China's partner against cardiovascular diseases. He was hopeful and welcomes the fact that U.S. can help them elevate the health standard of China.
