Kim Kardashian Wants to Slim Down: Can She Lose 20 Pounds?

On Friday morning, Kim Kardashian shared a red carpet photo of herself that was taken in 2009 and admitted that she preferred to have her body back to its shape five years ago.
As the photo's caption, she wrote, "Ughhhh I am 20 pounds lighter here! This was just 5 years ago!" She added, "Ok I'm going back on my grind. I gotta get back here!"

While Kanye West's wife has drawn attention to her new goal of losing more weight, Kim has already lost over 50 pounds following her pregnancy last year.
She also mentioned that she remains committed to working out in the gym "5 times a week".
In the past weeks, however, this throwback photo has been the second time that the 33-year-old reality TV star has confessed to wanting to go back to her "skinny days".
Kim has already tried --and succeeded-- in shedding some pounds in the past through a couple of health programs.
She has made positive comments about the Atkins diet which had worked well for her after giving birth to North. By adhering to a low-carbohydrate meal plan, Kim had lost over 50 pounds.
For her wedding in May, OK! Magazine reported that Kim had to make drastic changes in her diet, restricting herself to only lean protein and green vegetables. Her assistant was reportedly carrying "a bag of celery sticks at all times".
Kim was also said to have been drinking only water in addition to her "Atkins mania".
According to a source for the magazine, the reality star "doesn't really drink, but she likes a glass of red wine with dinner and coffee in the morning".
On the other hand, the Atkins mania does not permit her in consuming those fluids anymore. Eventually, Kim had to cut back and "won't even have a sip".
In addition, Kim takes time to tone and shape her core and butt by heading over to Pilates Plus in Studio City to spend her sweat session on the Megaformer, allowing her to burn 500 calories in less than an hour.
E! Online has reported that Kim has partnered with two famous celebrity trainers, Tracy Anderson and Gunnar Peterson, in the past years.
While she has worked with Peterson for a long time, she also sought Anderson's help to bring her body back after giving birth. Kim's sister Khloe and brother Rob are also clients of Peterson.
