Korean celebrities gaining popularity in China is no big deal. In fact, it's quite ordinary. Now, it seems Chinese celebrities are doing the same thing of crossing over from their country to another. Taiwanese actor Bolin Chen has reportedly signed under an entertainment agency in Korea.
Chen is quite popular in China, having starred in countless films of which include "Chinese Zodiac," "Kung Fu Dunk," and "Distance." The 32-year old star has a few television series up his sleeve as well. Chen had starred in the series "Crystal Boys," "Sonic Youth," and "In Time With You."

It was thanks to the series "In Time With You" that Chen won the award for Best Leading Actor in a Television Show at the 47th Golden Bell Awards. In the series, Chen starred opposite actress, Ariel Lin.
Aside from his burgeoning friendship with directory Anthony Chen of "Distance," Bolin Chen is also known for his adorable relationship with Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee Chan. In 2013, Chen was a guest for the variety show, "Happy Camp" where he had to promote his film "Machi Action."
On the other hand, Jaycee was there with Amber Kuo. The pair was promoting their film "Love Speaks." Rather than Amber being paired with Jaycee, it was Jaycee and Bolin that had quite the (b)romance during the show. Dramapot shares a number of adorable photos of the two.
Given his popularity in China, it seems Chen wishes to spread his wings even more. The star has reportedly signed up with an entertainment agency in Korea, which is none other than BM Plus Entertainment. The said agency houses famous Korean actress Ha Ji Won.
"Bolin Chen is planning to meet Korean fans through various activities and a Korean-Chinese project soon. Please look forward his activities in Korea," stated a representative of BM Plus Entertainment in a report by Soompi.
Surprisingly, Chen and Ha Ji Won had once worked together for the film "Risking Life for Love." With Chen having officially signed up under the Korean agency, more Korean-Chinese films starring the 32-year old actor will definitely begin. His Chinese and Korean fans surely have more series or films to look forward to.
