Jada Pinkett Smith has come to the defense of her 13-year-old daughter, Willow, and her controversial photo with a shirtless 20-year-old Moisés Arias, both of them lying in bed.
In her recent interview with The Edit magazine, the actress claimed, "Just don't pollute something that's not dirty."

When the photo went viral, Pinkett Smith insisted that there was nothing inappropriate about her daughter and her friend posing together in a picture.
Willow's mother further added that it has been difficult, especially with the considerable decline of society's connection to the value of women.
She also expressed her sentiments on how women are being valued and compared to their male counterparts these days.
"Are women valued for being women, or are women valued when they have more masculine qualities?", she went on. "Men and women encompass both female and masculine energies, but it seems like when the feminine is present, it's not respected."
In the interview, Pinkett Smith explained how she wanted her to kids to be happy and "to be themselves".
"I was saying to a friend the other day, 'Remember, our kids are not us.' They're not", she said. "Sometimes we're trying to fix things that happened to us or projecting [onto them], and that's a terrible, terrible trap."
Opening up about her life with her family, the actress also spoke of her marriage to actor Will Smith and admitted that they had to work hard on getting to where they are now and that 'you just get into a flow".
She believes that merely calling Will her "husband" is not enough to express his value in her life as a wife, mother, and actress.
"I really had to mature and expand that. I think I had a very stuck idea of what a husband looks like, what a wife should be", Pinkett Smith confessed. "Once I broke all of that, a whole new world opened for me and man, oh, man, I got to see him in all his glory. And so that's what it's evolved into. And I'm just ecstatic about it."
