English luxury phone manufacturer Vertu once again partnered with a famed luxury car manufacturer to create a lavish feature phone, this time calling it the Signature for Bentley.

Vertu's new gadget is among the most exclusive devices in the Signature lineup, and it has quite a price to go with it. In keeping with the Bentley theme, Vertu developed the phone by borrowing a few of the accents and hues made popular by the car manufacturer. This includes a sleek metal logo finish, calf leather design, and even a carbon fiber weave around the phone's earpiece. An article in Techtimes notes that the gadget's software itself screams of Bentley, from the logo startup to the custom wallpapers.

The design flair of the Signature for Bentley doesn't end with its car-themed cover, though. Buyers have the option to incorporate a variety of colored gems onto the phone. The keyboard itself is made from a cover of sapphire crystal finish, and each key is placed quite elegantly on a ruby.

Bentley proudly announced that their new Signature phone is "[f]ocused on voice calls and high-quality sound reproduction, Signature uses refined technology to deliver simply superb acoustics."

Unfortunately for the modern phone user, though, the Signature for Bentley isn't the typical smartphone, albeit it comes with a price tag that could well be just as costly. While it can't access road navigation services or Google, or in fact have any semblance of a smartphone's operating system, it does come with the basic functions of making text and phone calls. This luxury handset is just that - a handset.

The phone fetches a steep price at $22,800 (£14,500), and it is set for release on September 18. Buyers are also entitled to the Vertu concierge service. This means that the company offers 12 months of non-stop personal assistance services, which include scheduling, personal route and accommodations recommendations, access to private events, and even suggestions on gifts for loved ones or colleagues.

While the Signature for Bentley phone may be pricey, it comes with a lot of benefits befitting someone with enough money to own a Bentley in the first place.
