Atletico De Madrid midfielder Arda Turan has been linked with the three Premier League giants this summer transfer window, multiple sources disclosed last week.

The 28-year old Turk expressed his desire to move to England this summer, where he is currently in talks with the three big clubs. Turan intended to leave Spain this summer as he pursues his goal of playing in the Premier League, which is the path he would like to take to continue his football career, Turan agent Ahmet Bulut told Spanish sports newspaper AS via the Guardian.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, The Red Devils are hopeful they can convince Turan to join their club and agree to a four-year contract to bring him in the Premier League. Manchester United is ready to launch a bid of more than £28million this summer to bring Turan at Old Trafford next season.

Manager Louis Van Gaal is keen about securing his second signing of this summer transfer window, after Memphis Depay had already secured his place at Manchester United.

On the other hand, Chelsea FC is also interested in acquiring Turan, and Jorge Garcia of AS even mentioned that the Blues are actually the frontrunner to get his signature. Arda stressed that he wants to secure his future by July 10 before the start of Atletico De Madrid pre-season training.

The Turk tallied 6 assist and 3 goals in all competitions last season. He regularly operates on the right side of the midfield, but he prefers to play on the left side so that he can cut into his right foot. Knowing that Eden Hazard already has that area, it's unlikely Arda will get opportunity to show his true skills in the star-studded Blues lineup.

However, his incredible work ethic and willingness to help out defensively should be recognized by Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho, who has a very solid unit. His ability to make incisive contributions in forward areas, along with his impressive passing ability to find his teammates with quick short passes is another dimension of his game where pundits believe he can provide for Chelsea as possible reliever for Willian and Oscar next season.
