According to NDTV, the unmanned cargo ship Space X that was scheduled to arrive at the International Space Station was able to successfully take-off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida; however, the ambitious travel plan of this technological marvel was interrupted midway as the cargo ship exploded shortly after its hyped take off.

The disaster has raised doubts on the efficiency of NASA's partners and their ability to handle missions. Doubting their capabilities automatically led to speculations regarding the space stations ambitious plans to pull off its missions in association with these partners. The explosion is also shocking because it is for the third time that a cargo ship has met with such fate in the last eight months.
Meanwhile, NASA on its part was quick to respond to the matter and said that they were prepared to handle such loses. The NASA authorities also said that such loses will not be able to disrupt their missions. As for the rocket, its launch was able to happen without interruptions. The countdown was smooth and even the weather conditions were absolutely normal.
Within 2 minutes and 19 seconds of its launch, spectators could see a white cloud followed by a rain of debris indicating that the vehicle had exploded. This explosion happened all of a sudden just when NASA seem was observing the vehicle on course. Another report on Brisbane Times quoted Elon Musk's tweet, the founder of Space Exploration Technologies that confirmed the explosion. Musk said that the cargo ship experienced problems soon after the lift-off.
Additionally, the crew on the International space station has food and supplies that will comfortably last them for four months, as quoted in the report.
