Olivia Munn seems prepared to play the fan favorite Psylocke, but her boyfriend and Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rogers can only sit and watch.

From an Instagram clip that the actress herself posted, Olivia Munn is seen twirling a katana like it is nothing, all while wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey. New York Post reported that the clip was shot inside an indoor training facility that the quarterback rented out so that his girlfriend could train properly for the role. Also seen in the video is her boyfriend Aaron Rogers, albeit without the talent and skill that Munn is showing off.

The movie version of Psylocke is an obvious delving away from the comic book one, with Slash Film assuming that the "Newsroom" actress will use an actual sword instead of a psionic one. However, it is still highly possible that this is only for this specific training session alone, and "Apocalypse" helmer Bryan Singer might decide to add effects to show a pink psionic blade via CGI protruding from her arm, just as fans expect it to be.

Though Munn will be joined by a slew of newcomers to the franchise including Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers or Cyclops, Alexnadra Shipp as Ororo Munroe or Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner or Nightcrawler, Ben Hardy as Warren Worthington III or Angel, Lana Condor as Jubilation Lee or Jubilee, and Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur or Apocalypse, IGN reported that Channing Tatum, who is slated to play the other fan favorite Gambit, will not be appearing in this sequel despite reports that the Cajun-accented mutant will soon appear on the big screen.

Overall, fans of the comics are very excited for the upcoming "X-Men" movie, given that most of the fans of the franchise grew up watching the animated series that featured most of the characters that are included. May 27, 2016, marks the release for "X-Men: Apocalypse," and fans cannot wait any longer.
