Fans may not like it, but "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will only be available on PS4 and Microsoft Windows platform by the fourth quarter of 2016.
Gear Nuke stated that Microsoft heavily disagreed on the date, noting it to be exactly a year after its title was introduced on Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles, particularly. The exclusive ownership of the "Tomb Raider" has a small effect on the giant software company, but significantly earn huge revenue from it. Fans, on the other hand, will have to wait for the sequel after its last franchise reboot, which was in 2011.

Game publisher Square Enix plans to cut their price in order to avoid repercussion from the fans. The publisher intends to give "Rise of the Tomb Raider" a tag price of $40 for both Play Station 4 and the Microsoft Windows platform. This giveaway is Square Enix's treat to their fans who have waited for the video game's release for 12 months. "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is published by Microsoft Studios and is developed by Crystal Dynamics. This action-adventure video game is part of the "Tomb Raider" Sequel.
While "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is set to hit Microsoft's console this year, its title never really made big on the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), but Crytal Dynamic was quick to release its 14 minute footage that gives an overview of Lara Croft's journey.
Microsoft may have failed to impress game enthusiasts at the E3 2015 reveal of "Rise of the Tomb Raider," but after the 14 minute footage, it proved there is more to it than its "dialogue cinematics."
According to the VCPost, Microsoft Console owners will enjoy "Rise of the Tomb Raider" video game at an earlier schedule, which is set to be on Novemeber 2015, while those on Play Stations and PC may enjoy a cut price of $40 dollars but at a later release schedule set in 2016. Xbox One and Xbox 360 will join the 2015 release of the video game.
