Who knew that masked turtles could cause such controversy?

From the beginning, the new take on the film franchise "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" has been criticized - from the snoutless characters, to Michael Bay's involvement in the movie, to the possibility of William Fichtner being cast as Shredder, and even to the opinion of some who don't feel that the reboot is even necessary.

However, despite a very vocal and opinionated public, management persisted and, the movie will open in theaters on August 8 - whether you like it or not.

And whether you roll your eyes at another Megan Fox sound bite, the actress has something to those who keep on hating on the film - "F**k off!"

Not one to sugarcoat her words, Fox revealed her opinion in a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" CINEMABLEND press conference in Los Angeles. She was joined by director Jonathan Liebesman, her co-star Will Arnett and the film's handful of writers and producers.

Fox stated, ""Let me tell you something about those people. How much money didTransformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain - they all go to the theater. They're gonna love it - and if they don't love it, they can fuck off, and that's the end of that."

Aside from other aspects of the film, the casting of Fox in the new reboot was criticized from the get-go, so it's really not a surprise that the actress would finally have her fill of nasty comments. Even Peter Laird, the co-creator of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", had something negative to say about Fox, so it really isn't a surprise that the actress feels the way she does and finally said those three lingering words.

Aside from Fox and Arnett, the film also stars K. Todd Freeman, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Danny Woodburn, Noel Fisher and Jeremy Howard.
