It has been a good start for the LGBT community, but the biggest LGBT news that still echoes long after it started is the transition of Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner, who, despite being fully supported by her entire family, Kim Kardashian did say that it is an extremely difficult thing to process.

In an interview with the Today show, the reality star voiced out her support for their step-father, saying that all of them considers him their hero. However, despite that, Fox News narrated that there is still a transition that needs to happen, and she considers the adjustment very hard.

In a different interview, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed that the entire family in the show are attending therapy sessions, and are slowly being taught on how not to be too judgmental, Independent Online reported. She added that not only does Caitlyn Jenner appreciate the support for different groups, but the family does appreciate the compassion of everyone around them.

Formerly named Bruce, Caitlyn Jenner brought up Kim after her biological father Robert Kardashian died in 2003. India Today reported that Kim acknowledged that if her father were here today, he would not have approve of the Paper cover shoot she did last year that broke the Internet, showing how much she supports and appreciates Caitlyn for allowing her to do such things.

Overall, though there have been negative statements about the transition of Caitlyn, the support she is getting is even bigger and stronger than those against. Accepting that their father is now a woman is an extremely heavy burden, emotionally and psychologically, but it is not impossible. The family's high profile status is not helping them, but in the bigger picture, it did help the LGBT community, and that alone is a win for progress.
