Surface Pro 3 is available at retailers like Best Buy, Microsoft Store, and Walmart. Customers can also purchase it online through TigerDirect.com.
Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 is the company's third attempt at making a tablet that can double as a laptop for business and power users.
Surface Pro 3 tablet features a super-sharp 12-inch touchscreen and measures a svelte 0.36 inches thick. The tablet is slightly thinner than the 13-inch MacBook Air laptop.
It has the ability to run all Windows-compatible programs. Its best feature is the built-in, adjustable kickstand that lets the users stand the tablet up on a desk just like a laptop or lay it down flat like a tablet.
Surface Pro 3 contains an Intel Core i3 processor and has file storage of 64 GB. On the other hand, the high-end model has Intel Core i7 processor and an enormous 512 GB hard drive.
The storage drive is enough to store all work and personal files. Users can also watch few full-length movies during long business trips.
The midrange model costs US$999 and features a Core i5 chip and 128 GB drive. It started selling in June.
Though Surface Pro 3 aims to replace laptops, it doesn't have a physical keyboard.
Users need to buy the Surface Pro Type Cover that costs US$129. It features a keyboard and touchpad and can be used as a cover, too.
There's also a stylus for Pro 3 that retails at US$49.99.
