According to iDigital Times, "The Flash" main star Grant Gustin teased that there will be a cool "big bad" villain to be revealed immediately within the season 2. The website further hinted that unlike season 1, where they prolonged the identity of Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne a.k.a. The Reverse-Flash, the new villain will be revealed just right off the bat, probably in the show's first episode.

Geoff Johns, executive producer for "The Flash" revealed during an interview with TV Line that there will be a lot of characters being introduced in season 2, besides the ones that were mentioned online, and these new faces will challenge Barry and the wholec cast's relationships and struggles, ComicBook.com reported.
Cinemablend reported claimed that Mirror Master and Doctor Alchemy are hinted to be part of the show, while Tech Times revealed that Zavatar and a returning Gorilla Grodd will also join them as well.
Both Mirror Master and Doctor Alchemy have join Captain Cold's group "The Rogues" in the comics and fans are hoping to see them in the small screen.
Zavatar involvement in the show could be an interesting factor since it will introduce another speedster in the series that will challenge Barry's powers.
Finally Gorilla Grod icould make a perfect fit since Barry barely beat him in season 2, and since Barry got rid of Grodd's "father" Eobard Thawne, he will likely go out for revenge.
In other news, there have been reports that the premier episode script for "The Flash" season 2 have been revealed online.
According to a previous report from ComicBook.com, showrunners Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg wrote the script of the first epsisode for season 2 entitled "The Man Who Saved Central City."
The first episode will be helm by Ralph Hemecker, who previously directed two episodes of "The Flash" season1; "The Man in the Yellow Suit" and "Tricksters."
The website was able to post a photo of the script for season 2's premiere episode.
International Business Times also reported that the first trailer for "The Flash" season 2 will be shown at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con this month along with new details for the show.
"The Flash" season 2 will premier on Oct. 6, 2015 on the CW Network.
