Factors that contributed to Rihanna's net worth include stock investments, a host of endorsement deals with CoverGirl cosmetics, and substantial property holdings.

The 27-year-old also owes her whopping fortune to several restaurants (the "Fat Rihanna Burger" chain) that she owns in Bridgetown, a football team named the "Saint Michael Angels," as well as her own Vodka brand called the "Pure Wonderihanna - Barbados."

Rihanna's net worth is also due to her top-selling perfume "With Love from Rihanna" and her "Rihanna Seduction" fashion line.

This year, the Barbadian beauty is reportedly having a tough time. Fortunately, her millions are worth all her hardships.

In July 2014, Rihanna's net worth was estimated at $120 million, according to The Daily Mail.

In 2015, the Grammy-winning R&B singer snagged the no. 1 spot on the list of top 10 highest-paid singers by People With Money, according to Media Mass.

The Thursday report stated that Rihanna raked in $82 million from June 2014 and June 2015. The magazine considered factors like profit participation, upfront pay, advertising work, residuals, and endorsements in compiling the yearly list.

Another factor that perhaps greatly influenced Rihanna's net worth is her digital single.

On Wednesday, Rihanna was named by the Recording Industry Association of America as the first artist to exceed more than 100 million cumulative digital singles. She topped artists like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, who came in second place and third place, respectively.

To determine Rihanna's growing digital singles, the recording industry's digital single certifications summed the singer's download sales as well as on-demand streams in the United States, reported SINA.

"She has not only surpassed RIAA's 100 million mark, but also is the first artist to do so," according to the association's chairman and CEO, Cary Sherman.

To date, Rihanna has already won eight Grammys and has created seven studio albums. Her top-selling singles include "We Found Love," "Stay," and "Only Girl (In The World)," to name a few.

Being named the world's highest-paid singer and music's digital sales queen is not only significant for Rihanna's net worth but for her fans as well. Riri fans have reportedly been waiting for the performer's return to the spotlight.
