Orlando Bloom was reportedly praised by women all over the world by his chivalry act during a party in Ibiza, Spain, last week.

The "Lord of the Rings" star caught Hollywood's attention when he knocked down Justin Bieber because he made an inappropriate comment to Bloom's ex, Miranda Kerr.

An insider told the New York Post that Bloom snubbed the "Beauty and the Beat" singer during the party and when he passed by him, Bieber made a comment saying, "She was good." A few minutes later, Bieber posted his photo with the Victoria's Secret model just to "rub it in" to Bloom.

Even though the international pop star has won many fans across the globe, the public pretty much sided with Bloom on the incident.

Majority of those who commented on the issue said that it is time that someone took Bieber down for his "shenanigans."

Others, mostly women, reveled in Bloom's act of "defending a woman's honor."

There was a woman's Twitter post that supported Bloom's "knighthood," "I never thought I could love Orlando Bloom any more. Gorgeous, talented and now this?! Give that man a knighthood!"

New York Post's Naomi Schaefer Riley said that even though Bloom already split with Kerr, he still does not want hearing people talking down the mother of his child.

Riley also said that women idolized Bloom because men defending women is a "rare find these days."

Meanwhile, there were other Hollywood stars who rallied on social media posting the hashtag, #TeamBloom, as a support insignia.

Alyssa Milano, James Franco and Leonardo DiCaprio were just several of the stars who joined #TeamBloom.

"Arrow" star Stephen Amell also commended Bloom, taking his side over fellow Canadian Bieber.

"Orlando Bloom didn't try to punch Bieber. It looks like he tried to flick him in the head. That's way, WAY better," Amell posted.
