'Pokken Tournament' Rumors; Namco Bandai To Work On Wii U Version; Dragonite, Heracross, Magmortar To Join The Roster!

Gameranx reported that a new trailer for "Pokken Tournament" have been revealed online and it features two new pokemons; Charizard and Weavile showcasing their abilities in the Pokemon fighting game.

As seen in the trailers,Charizards fights his enemies using his flight, fire-based attacks and natural brute strength making him a powerful threat to any Pokemon that he faces. Charizards finishing maneuver "Burst Attack" allows him to transform to his second form, Mega Charizard X and blast his enemies with a powerful flamethrower attack.

Weavel, on the other hand, takes avantage of his speed as the claw pokemon uses a combination of slash and dash attacks to keep his enemies off-guard and to create several combos. Weavel also uses Ice based attacks as projectiles, while dark based powers to enhance his overall damage.

Both Charizard and Weavel will join the ranks of Pikachu, Lucario, Suicune, Machamp,Blaziken, Gengar and Gardevoir, which makes a total of nine playable pokemons all in all.

IGN further adds that two other support type pokemons, Whimsicott and Jirachi will also join "Pokken Tournament" joining other support monsters like Eevee, Lapras, Snivy, Frogadier, Fennekin and Emolga.

In other news, there are rumors making rounds that Bandai Namco will likely make a WiiU version of "Pokken Tournament," along with five other pokemons joining the roster.

According to a previous report from KDramStars, gaming fans have pleaded for Bandai Namco to have "Pokken Tournament" on the Wii U version. Bandai Namco will likely listen to their fans and start working on it within 2015.

The website further adds that the arcade version of "Pokken Tournament" could be the perfect time to test the game's limits as both Nintendo and Bandai Namco will use the feedback to generate new ideas and mechanics.

There are also rumors that five pokemons are being considered to join "Pokken Tournament's" roster which inlcudes Dragonite, Heracross, Magmortar, Hawlucha and Vigoroth.

Gamezone reported that Bandai Namco will release "Pokken Tournament" on July 16 in Japan for the arcades.
