Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's split has been all over the news since last week, but recent news suggested that the two are officially broken up after nine years.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality stars Kourtney Kardashian and Scoot Disick are reported to have called it quits over the Fourth of July weekend. This news emerged after Scott was pictured with ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli hanging out in Monaco.

According to E! News, Kourtney has decided to break up with Scott after being together for nine years. The Kardashian's decision was made for the kids who are growing up fast.

"Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old. Kourtney has to do what's best for the kids," the source said. "Scott has been running around saying he's single. Kourtney dumped him after she saw the pics [in Monte Carlo] and he hasn't been home after a month-long party binge."

Another report from Mirror UK claimed that Scott has also been spending with friends who are "not a good influence" to him. Their relationship has been up and down over the past few years, but it looks like the split is real this time.

Kourtney and Scott had a brief split back in 2010 but also rekindled their relationship shortly after. Disick even gave up drinking and partying for a while, but it seems like he is back on it again. People magazine claimed that he was even admitted to rehab earlier this year for substance abuse.

The two have been together since 2006, but Disick's personal issues and vices have always been a problem.

"He's in a classic shame spiral right now. He knows he's screwing up, and he knows what he needs to do. He has people telling him to go home and work things out, to stop this behavior, to repent and to move forward. But he's not doing it," a source told People.

Disick who is father to Mason, Penelope, and Reign Aston admitted in a May episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that he goes "in and out of a happy dark place in his life."
