They're so hardcore.

Nickelodeon and Paramount TV have decided to turn the 2003 blockbuster movie, "School of Rock", into a TV series.

The TV adaptation of the Jack Black comedy flick will still focus on the character of Dewey Finn, an aspiring and deluded rock star who discovers that he is actually better at teaching than performing when he poses as a music teacher at a prep school. Finn introduces rock and roll to a bunch of overachieving kids who have only been exposed to the "higher" art of classical music.
