John Wall, Bradley Beal, Paul Millsap Cut from Team USA

The first wave to cuts have apparently begun for Team USA, as the team tried to move forward after a gruesome injury on Paul George, who once had been considered to suit up for the national team.
Sources told Yahoo! Sports that USA Basketball officials cut Washington Wizards guards John Wall and Bradley Beal and Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap on Monday.

With the exit of Wall, Beal and Millsap from the pool, the team's roster is down to 16 as it continued to prepare for the upcoming FIBA World Championships in Spain.
Millsap was invited to the team after forwards Kevin Love and Blake Griffin withdrew from the team before the start of the training camp.
Love cited the uncertainty of his trade, while Griffin said he was nursing a fracture in his back.
The U.S. team lost the services of George after he broke his leg during last week's scrimmage at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. George was chasing James Harden on a fast-break play when the Pacers forward slammed into the basketball stanchion, causing his tibia and fibula to be broken.
The injury was so severe that fans and players looked away from the scene.
George underwent an emergency surgery to repair the leg and was recuperating at a Las Vegas hospital.
Still remaining in the pool are guards Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, DeMar DeRozan, James Harden, Kyle Korver, Damian Lillard; forwards Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Chandler Parsons, Gordon Hayward, Kenneth Faried; and centers DeMarcus Cousins, Mason Plumlee and Andre Drummond.
