The semifinal match between Agnieszka Radwanska and Garbine Muguruza may be overshadowed by the Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova showdown, but don't discount the possibility of these two women producing high quality tennis.

Radwanska's 3-set quarterfinal win against Madison Keys is an indication of her will to win on a surface that clearly suits her game. After all, she was once a Wimbledon Finalist and she has done fairly well on previous years. Entering the semifinal for the third time is a familiar setting for the Pole but she never expected it.

"To be honest, I did not really see myself in the semi-finals here so few weeks after Roland Garros," Radwanska said as reported in Wimbledon's Official Website. "I knew that grass is much better [for] me, but after that match in Paris, I wouldn't expect the semi-final here, that's for sure. I had a lot of good matches before Wimbledon, and had a lot more confidence after those weeks on grass."

Radwanska is definitely hungry for a grand slam win but she has to take care of Muguruza first.

Though a debut grand slam semifinal appearance may seem unnerving, the Spaniard is no stranger to defeating big names and higher seeds. On the way to the semis, she beat former semifinalist Angelique Kerber and fifth seed Caroline Wozniacki. Grass, however, is not a Spanish turf but if she pulls an Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, she may just give her opponent on the top half of the draw a lot of trouble.

"It is very hard to make the last four of Wimbledon, so to achieve this I am very proud," Muguruza told BBC.

Radwanska and Muguruza have never met on grass and odds may be on the 13th seed who has more experience. But Garbine knows Aga's game. Their head-to-head is at 2-2 but the last two meetings went to the Spaniard. If she can keep up her momentum from her previous wins, she may just end Radwanska's bid for a second Wimbledon final appearance.

"Is she the favourite? I don't know," Radwanska commented. "I think it's going to be a 50/50 match. She's playing very good tennis at the moment. But we never played on grass, so that's going to be a very good challenge."

Indeed, it will be.
