Kids from the nineties are definitely screaming their heads off after hearing news that everyone's favorite horror TV show "Goosebumps" is up for a movie reboot.
The recently released trailer shows Jack Black as the author RL Stine, alongside teenagers Hannah and Zach played by Odeya Rush and Dylan Minnette, respectively, that People Magazine reported will have to face off all the monsters from the books that gets released into the real world.

Though it was first announced in Comic Con just a year ago, it has been repeatedly in and out of development hell, with Tim Burton even coming in once as a director, only to pull out since he knew he would not do justice to the 90's classic books.
Rob Letterman jumps in as the director, which will feature monsters like Invisible Boy, werewolves, and the most recurring villain in the book, Slappy the Dummy, which is featured albeit briefly in the two-minute, forty-six-second trailer.
As with every movie reboot, there are naysayers such as the New Zealand Herald, which reported that the "Goosebumps" movie will draw every negative reaction available to those who grew up in the nineties, including calling the movie as a childhood ruiner.
Largely a horror book franchise, the Sydney Morning Herald reported that the movie will carry a horror vibe, but the genre overall will be set in a comedic tone. Director Rob Letterman said that this was the overall feel of the book, a little funny, a little scary, and this is something they want to capture in the movie. Rest assured they will not undercut the horror factor from the books.
Overall, though it might be a little over the top, this movie will surely win the hearts of millions of nineties kids all over the world. The fact that it will follow a comedic route along with the scare factor, it can be assumed that the movie will have a campy vibe that will definitely sell, given that they do not take themselves too seriously.
