Ariana Grande Jail Time - Ariana Grande may have apologized for her "I Hate America" comment on July 4, but new reports are claiming that she could be facing jail time, because of "licking and spitting" on donuts at a shop in California.

The 22-year-old pop star is being asked for an apology by the Wolfee Donuts owner Joe Marin, saying that Ariana Grande and her new man, Ricky Alvarez "licked" and "spit" on the merchandise in display while the employees weren't looking.

On Saturday, July 4, Grande was caught on tape at the donut shop with her backup dancer around 11:30pm, according to The Inquisitr.

The cameras showed Ariana Grande and Alvarez kissing and laughing at the Lake Elsinore shop. When the video went viral, the kiss was all anyone could talk about for a while. Upon further inspection though, it appears the reason why Ariana Grande and Alvarez were laughing was because they licked the donuts on display as a practical joke, reported Hollywood Life.

"Yes, I'm upset," said Marin, the donut shop owner. "We sold those by accident to other people and didn't catch it until hours later."

Even Mayra Solis, an employee at the shop, told CBS Miami that Ariana Grande had been "completely rude" to her.

"What the f**k is that? I hate Americans. I hate America," Grande said when Solis appeared with a tray of donuts.

Marin said the donuts on display were meant to be put away, but the employees had to attend to the customers. Marin wants an apology from Ariana Grande. Rumors are now swirling that both Ariana Grande and her new boyfriend could face jail time.

Marin has reportedly contacted authorities, who are now investigating this situation. Cross-contaminating the donuts is illegal, and reports say that the donuts that Grande and her boyfriend licked were already sold to customers.

A few years ago, a pub cook in Mount Olive, New Jersey, reportedly got three years in jail for spitting on a roll that was supposed to be given to a customer, according to silive.com.

A month ago, a Syracuse couple who ate at a local Chili's restaurant found out through DNA testing that their waiter was the culprit for a "loogie" in their soda. As punishment, the waiter was fired, charged with disorderly conduct, and was issued a $125 surcharge plus conditional discharge for a year.

Ariana Grande has released an apology for her anti-American statements, but has yet to comment on her donut "spitting" episode.
