As of now, HERO4 Black and Silver cameras are GoPro's best selling models. Using these cameras are easy as they can be mounted on hand or even on a helmet and will click pictures with absolute clarity. With Hero4 Session, the company has introduced a new model that packs its predecessor's award winning image clarity and is still 50 percent smaller in size.
Users get to enjoy the same performance at a weight that is 40 percent lighter. The new model is extremely easy to use. Starting the camera, as well as stopping it, is possible at the mere click of a button.
Giving a low down of how the camera worked, the report said that the red colored button on the top side of the camera is the power button. Once pressed, it will start recording. Simply tapping it will turn off the functions as well.
GoPro founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman spoke at the launch ceremony and said that the new model was a very convenient option. He said that the new model combined the technical and engineering expertise of the firm. The new camera shoots at 1440p video at 30 frames per second, 1080p up to 60 frames per second, and 720p up to 100 frames per second. What's more is that it is completely waterproof and does not need bulky casing.
Starting next week, it will be available for 399 dollars.
Another report on Business Transworld said that the new model had also got rid of the traditional square design.
