Ex-WWE Superstar CM Punk wants to be as prepared as possible before he makes a UFC debut, hopefully in December.
Obviously, he won't be rushed to non-scripted fights and said that the transition may even be delayed for January.
There's no pressure from the UFC, whose president, Dana White, loves Punk's attitude expecting him to fight early next year.

If he pushed through with a December debut, he may be inserted in UFC 194, a one pay-per-view event scheduled on Dec. 5.
Punk quit professional wrestling last year to sign a UFC contract. He will campaign in the 170-pound welterweight division.
Punk, whose real names is Phil Brooks, says he enjoys sessions with former kickboxer Duke Roufus, who trains him three times per day. He emphasized that the decision on when he will make his debut will depend on Roufus.
The Roufusport camp has trained UFC stars such as Pat Barry, Anthony Pettis and Matt Mitrione over the years.
Ex-WWE star Mick Foley noted that Punk is dedicated and training hard for his UFC stint and has moved from Chicago to Milwaukee where the successful to train at Roufusport.
Foley added that Punk is dead srious and will leave it all out in the UFC.
Former Chael Sonnen added that were already seeing a different Punk as of this stage--one who is not trash talking.
Unlike many fellow WWE Superstars, he didn't come from traditional wrestling background and is a newbie in almost every MMA discipline.
The 36-year-old Punk admits he is still adjusting to grappling.
Traditional wrestling is a "grind" for him since he is constantly in somebody's face not trying to give up any ground.
He emphasized that it's no secret he didn't wrestle in high school and he has to train with those who have a "lifetime" of wrestling experience.
Another professional wrestler who venture into the UFC, Brock Lesnar, had an outstanding NCAA wrestling experince, making his transition to MMA a smashing success.
Observers are putting down Punk's chances of making it big in the UFC as many other fighters who are more experienced than him couldn't get a decent ranking in the organization.
Punk is charismatic and knows how to rally an audience but an embarrassing loss could abruptly end his MMA career.
