Gamers finally have a reason to rejoice as Sony has confirmed that it will be launching the bird loving game "Hatoful Boyfriend," across Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita by the July 21, as part of the cross-buy package, in which, playing on the go will also be possible.

According to Herald Recorder, "Hatoful Boyfriend," the bird romance simulator game that has of late been extremely popular across gamers, is all set to make its Playstation debut in the third week of July. Previously, the game was available only on personal computers and was originally a novel by Mao Hato. The game then originated in Flash and was later revamped by Developer Digital. Interestingly, Hato, the last name of the original conceptualizer, transforms to mean pigeons. The plot of the game is simple as all the characters are birds, ranging from the docile doves to the not so beautiful quails.

As the central character, users will have to navigate their way through the school; however, navigation is not the only thing that gamers will have to do. During the course of the game, they will have to battle the baddies to ensure that they reach the destination on time. The plot keeps players engaged with its life altering dilemmas. Nigel Lowrie from the Digital Developer team confirmed the news by announcing the release on the Sony Playstation blog. The game is all about the central character playing the only human in a very prestigious avian school. Popular gamers like PewDiePie (YouTube name) have confirmed the game to be interesting and hilarious.

The plot of the game is based in the creepy post-apocalyptic world where humans are dating birds. Even the ending of the game is unpredictable. Depending on how the player interacts with the game, the end will differ in each case, Engadget reported.

Users will need to purchase the game once post, which it can be played on Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. There is also some new content that has been introduced as part of this update. "Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star" is the updated version of the game that is expected to hit markets shortly.
