Good news Marvel fans as new updates for "Thor: Ragnarok" movie have been revealed regarding its plot details and possible characters joining the third installment.
Bleeding Cool reported that Jamie Alexander's character Lady Sif will make her return in "Thor: Ragnarok" during an interview with MTV at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con event.

Alexander currently stars in her new TV series "Blindspot," which airs on NBC, wherein she stated that the show will not hinder her participation in "Thor: Ragnarok's" filming schedules, Movie News Guide reported.
Venture Capital Post also noted that the "Thor" star is one of the few contenders for the role of Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." When asked about Gal Gadot getting the role, she simply said that Gal will pretty much "kick someone's butt" on the DC blockbuster film.
Aside from Lady Sif, there are also several Marvel characters that are rumored to join "Thor: Ragnarok" cast as well.
Moviepilot reportedly claimed that these characters could be Lorelei, Beta Ray Bill and even Thanos.
Lorelei first made her live-action debut in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 and is played by "Magic City" star Elena Satine. She has the ability to control the whims of every man (male) she ever encounters, either magically or physically. She is also the younger sister of Amora the Enchantress, who is also rumored to be part of the film and has a rivalry with Lady Sif, which would likely explains Alexander's participation.
Thanos will likely make his presents known in the third film as he now seeks the Infinity Stones by himself after his "pawns" failed to get them at the end of phase 2.
Lastly, a previous report from KDramaStars hinted that "Thor: Ragnaroks" plot details will revolve around Thor himself, as several Marvel speculated that he will gain so much power that he cannot control it and he will cause Ragnarok upon Asgard and the other realms. Fans have already seen a glimpse of it during "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and it will likely happen again in the film.
KpopStarz further adds that "Thor: Ragnarok" could be staging grounds for "Avengers: Infinity War part 1" as he and the rest of Avengers will fight Thanos for the infinity stones.
"Thor: Ragnarok" will be released in cinemas on Nov. 3, 2017 and its part of phase 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
