Martin Schnieder, general manager for Konami Entertainment, stated that playable demo for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is the "most important" consumer exhibition in the world and to further show that Konami can still deliver the best AAA-games today, IDigital Times reported.
It was previously reported that Konami released a new gameplay trailer for "Metal Gear Solid 5: the Phantom Pain" that features different strategies and scenarios to finish each missions within the game. The gameplay trailer also revealed new game features such as a "buddy" system were in Snake and other characters could team up with him on certain missions, equipping them with weapons, ammo and strategist on how take out enemies without being seen.
The video also sees Snake using his cybernetic prosthetic arm as weapon to stun and knock out enemies in the area. Players are also given a choice to be more creative when it comes to stealth approaches as Snake can infiltrate areas in person or using an unwilling sentry to do his dirty work for him.
Aside from the new game details, there have been reports that Kojima Production was "forced" to disband this year.
According to Video Gamer, Japanese voice actor Atsuko Osaka claimed that Kojima Production has been dissolved, and due to the teams hardwork and effort, "Metal Gear Solid 5" is about finished.

Gamerant noted that this was bound to happen for Hideo Kojima's team due to the fact that he will finish developing "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC, and that they are done with everything.
It was due to the misunderstandings of both Kojima and Konami that led the "Metal Gear" creator to leave the company and the cancellations of another game "Silent Hills."
Konami attempted to erase Kojima's name off the company pulling his name out of the "Metal Gear" series, only to bring it back due to public outcry.
"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will be released in Sept. 1, 2015 for the PS4 and Xbox One console, while the PC version will be out on September 15 via Steam.
