What is the best way to take a friendship to the next level? Louis Tomlinson thinks it is getting her pregnant.

The 23-year-old One Direction member is about to become a father, thanks to a tryst with a supposed really close friend, Briana Jungwirth. Jungwirth, a stylist based in the sunny city of Los Angeles, is expected the child early 2016, which reportedly came as a surprise to both parties. TIME reported that the pair is not necessarily a couple but are in a close relationship together, and both are very excited by the news.

Tomlinson and Jungwirth, also 23 years old, have been seen out together, and it is quite obvious that are really getting along well. Los Angeles Times reported that the One Direction member is enthusiastic in becoming a father and is already scanning for potential properties in LA to be near Jungwirth.

Tomlinson previously dated longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder, whom he has dated since 2011. The two eventually broke up March of this year.

Despite the festive affair of the baby's arrival, One Direction fans are devastated upon hearing news about Louis's situation. Us Magazine reported that fans of the boy band are taking to Twitter their disappointment. Some of tweets expressed frustrations, while others were still in denial about the news.

Whether fans like it or not, Louis Tomlinson will soon become a father to probably the first Baby Directioner, and that alone is reason enough to celebrate. It is no news, however, that a good-looking guy like Louis easily found someone to fill in the gap that Eleanor Calder left; he is lucky enough to fill that missing gap with a close friend. Here is to hoping that despite plans to live in LA, the world tour schedules of the One Direction boys will not falter so that fans will have no reason to stop loving them as what they are now.
