Mobs of fans awaited Bryant outside of the famous House of Mamba athletic complex. The Nike camp, dubbed "Bryant Court," was designed to help players improve their basketball skills and also enjoy taking a one-on-one challenge from the NBA champion.
The court that was named in Bryant's honor will be used to host several special events. Bryant was also in attendance to promote his upcoming Nike shoes that will be released in the near future.
Throughout the years, Bryant has made multiple trips to China and has an enormous fan base that was on-hand to watch the 35-year-old demonstrate his basketball technique. Bryant also took time to pose for pictures with fans and he smiled brightly as a painted mural of him in his honor was unveiled on his arrival.
The five-day camp gave many Chinese basketball players a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to challenge Bryant and also to ask him questions so they can improve their own skills. Several videos of Kobe have popped up across social media that show him displaying his skills on the court while at the camp which left many onlookers speechless.
Many fans have commented that they are happy to see the five-time champ appear to be healthy. Bryant missed last season due to a serious injury to his Achilles' tendon.
