Since July 4, the tech giant is giving out a lot of great deals on the 2015 versions of MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iPad, as per news reports by The Master Herald.

Apple, however, is keeping quiet about the official release date of these devices. It is supposedly waiting for Intel to release the new Core M based processors, which will be present in the upcoming Apple devices, according to reports by The News Informer.

MacBook Air 2016 is expected to sport a 4 GB RAM along with at least 128 GB SSD. One of its variants is expected to sport a 256 GB SSD while the other is expected to sport a 512 GB SSD. The device will consist of a huge upgrade in comparison with its predecessor, in terms of both design and specs.

It is also rumored that this device will be equipped with a sophisticated layout and also a slim industrial design. With high end features like the Retina display, USB Type C connector, and Finger Print scanner, it is likely to give a very tough competition to Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

There is also a rumor that Microsoft has signed a deal with Samsung to produce solid state drives for its Surface Pro 4 range, as the company wants it to be packed with killer specs in order to compete with MacBook Air 2016.

Comparisons between these two devices are inevitable as they are rumored to get the same release date. Surface Pro 4 is rumored to be pre-equipped with Windows 10, which will make it the first ever device to showcase the latest operating system from Microsoft.

MacBook 2016, on the other hand, will be pre-installed with iOS 9; however the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release is in jeopardy to the financial issues that the parent company is facing. It is rumored that the Surface Pro 4 release may be pushed to 2016.
