Ex-couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted over the weekend at a Beverly Hills hotel. As expected, there were rumors that the on-and-off couple were rekindling their romance. But just when hopes are up for the solid Jelena fans, Justin revealed that he is currently single and he has no girlfriend at the moment.

According to a recent article from Hollywood Life, the 21-year-old singer confessed in his "Interview" magazine August issue interview that his status is currently single.

"No girlfriend at the moment. No. I'm single," Justin told Martha Stewart who conducted the interview.

Now fans are arguing that this interview was done before the ex-lovers were spotted in Beverly Hills. The fans of the singers are not waving their white flags just yet.

But in another article by People magazine, a source revealed that the "Come And Get It" singer has no interest in getting back together with Biebs. However, the source also added that the two are "completely friendly" and check on each other every once in a while.

"She has no interest [in dating him]. There's nothing going on with them romantically at all," a source said. "That's probably the first time they'd seen each other in a while." 

In addition to the rumors, Selena is allegedly currently dating One Direction member Niall Horan. The two were spotted together just after she was seen with Justin in the hotel. It is not the first time that Niall and Selena were seen together in public. According to a report from Inquisitr, the two have had dinner dates in London over the years. Niall admitted before that Selena Gomez was his celebrity crush, and it seems like their common friend Taylor Swift tried to set the two up in the past.

"Selena was with Niall, they were on a date. Taylor has been pushing them to hang out again because she's doing everything she can to keep Selena off Justin. Taylor thinks Selena's relationship with Justin is an addiction. She knows how hard it is for her to break so she's trying to support her in any way she can," a source claimed.
