Taiwanese actress and singer Hebe Tien is definitely in awe of Japanese pop superstar Takuya Kimura. Her admiration for the 42-year-old heartthrob apparently borders on worship that Hebe called him a "great god."

A self-confessed fan, Hebe shared during a public benefit event that she kept a collection of pictures, posters, and videos of the J-Pop icon. She further shared that she even found herself humming "Goodbye My Love" for Kimura while on her way to a salon prior the event, where she served as the promotional ambassador for a microfilm reading project.

Just yesterday, Kimura left for Japan after four days of shooting a tourism promotion film in Taiwan. His departure was kept low-key to prevent fans from storming in like when he first arrived in the country. However, more or less 100 fans managed to know his schedule and sent him off with fleeting glimpse. Kimura reportedly waved, smiled, and flashed a "V" sign at his adoring supporters as he entered the VIP room of a Japanese airline.

While Hebe was not able to be part of the send-off party, she quipped about joining fellow Kimura fan and Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin in organizing a show with the actor and SMAP, Kimura's boy band, in Taiwan. She further joked about helping Kimura change clothes for the program.

Apart from Kimura's talent and good looks, fans and workmates admire his down-to-earth attitude. Hong Kong director John Woo, who helmed the Taiwan tourism promotion film, was all praises for Kimura's dedication and interest in what Taiwan has to offer. According to one report, Kimura always started his day early and shared the same packed lunch as the rest of the production crew. Some staff members even noted that Kimura "is kinder and easier to deal with" than other celebrities.

Meanwhile, Hebe may not had the chance to spend time with nor see Kimura in person, but one Taiwanese celebrity was allegedly spotted with the actor. Apparently, model-actress Lin Chi-ling, who was Kimura's co-star in a 2010 Japanese TV drama, was seen accompanying him around Taipei.

Kimura reportedly accepted the invitation of Taiwan's Tourism Board at a smaller fee, in gratitude of the country's aid when an earthquake and a tsunami destroyed many parts of Japan in March 11, 2011.
