As Caitlyn Jenner stood at the stage speaking passionately about her struggles and journey while transitioning to a woman, her family, including her children and stepchildren, proudly watched her, according to The Inquisitr.
Jenner has called her journey "eye-opening" and "inspiring," and she herself looked amazing in her gown capturing the attention of everyone, but probably what was more inspiring and attention-grabbing that night was Caitlyn Jenner's ESPYs speech.

In the Caitlyn Jenner ESPYs speech, she acknowledged her family - mother, children - and ABC News' Diane Sawyer. Caitlyn said the past few months had been a "whirlwind," recalling how she never met someone transgender until her revelation and interview with Sawyer.
The Caitlyn Jenner ESPYs speech also mentioned how she dealt with everything "alone and in private," reported ABC News.
"This transition has been harder on me than anything I could imagine," said Caitlyn.
She added that the toughest part was not wanting to hurt anyone, especially her family.
"I only want my kids to be proud of their dad," Caitlyn said.
The former Olympic superstar also mentioned how she understood the "power of the spotlight" and that "with attention comes responsibility."
"The goal highlighted in the Caitlyn Jenner ESPYs speech was simple - acceptance," reported Variety.
"Trans people deserve something vital," said Caitlyn. "They deserve your respect. And from that respect, comes a more compassionate community, a more empathetic society and a better world for all of us."
"If you want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead," she added. "I can take it. But for the thousands of kids coming to terms with who they are, they shouldn't have to take it."

Caitlyn's children - Casey, Burt, Brandon, Brody, Kendall, and Kylie - were there to support their father at the ESPY Awards. Her Kardashian step-children - Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe - also attended the event, according to the New York Daily News.
Meanwhile, her ex-wives - Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson, and Kris Jenner - weren't there because "they are not her family," according to TMZ.

When it was first announced by ESPN that Caitlyn Jenner was to attend the ESPY Awards since she would be receiving the 2015 Arthur Ashe Courage Award, an outpour of support was given to the reality star. However, not everyone was in agreement, therefore resulting in hateful comments on social media.
Yall might hate me for saying this but sorry Caitlyn Jenner doesn't deserve the courage award from the Espys — C e l i n a (@celinadewitt) June 29, 2015
Caitlyn Jenner doesn't deserve to win this. The espy is for courageous athletes, not for simply courageous people. Sure, maybe 40 years ago

Other tweets suggested that the Caitlyn Jenner ESPY Award was only for publicity and money. There has also been widespread speculation that a deal had been made so that Jenner would receive the award in exchange for the ABC's Diane Sawyer 20/20 interview in April.
Jenner's reps brought the idea of the award to ESPN, which is ABC's sister network, in exchange for PR plugs in Jenner's upcoming reality show "I am Cait," according to RadarOnline insider.
The decision over the Caitlyn Jenner ESPY Award had been controversial since the first time it had been announced.
According to NBC sportscaster Bob Costas, she did not deserve the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. He added that the Caitlyn Jenner ESPY Award was a "crass exploitation play" by the network and that only someone who was "actively involved in sports" was deserving.
Costas also said that the Caitlyn Jenner ESPY Award was due to Jenner's "gawker factor" to the awards ceremony which would boost audience ratings for the ESPY awards ceremony, according to The Daily Mail.
Fortunately, Caitlyn Jenner's ESPYs speech, as well as the former Olympian herself, had been well-received at the event.
Following the Caitlyn Jenner ESPYs speech, there was nothing but applause and standing ovations for what Buzz Feed Sports described as "a hell of a speech." Rosie Perez also described it as Caitlyn's "best victory yet'."
"I Am Cait," Jenner's much-anticipated reality series, is set to premiere on E! July 26.
