‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Update: Kit Harington Spotted in Belfast; Is Jon Snow Alive?

Fans of Game of Thrones went a little bit crazy when it was claimed that Kit Harington was seen in Belfast, where season 6 is filming.

In case some people are not informed, Kit Harington's character, Jon Snow, was killed in the last season of Game of Thrones. This caused outrage online, with the fans speculating on a lot of theories regarding Jon Snow's death. Many insisted that he will be back in the sixth season since "A Song of Ice and Fire" will not make sense without the "Ice."

According to Hollywood Life, fans of Game of Thrones claimed that they spotted Kit Harington at the airport in Belfast where season 6 had just begun filming.

Express UK reported that although the tweets from fans are unverified and could simply be picking up from other sources, the supposed sighting shed light to fans who are claiming that Jon Snow will make a comeback after being murdered by his fellow brothers of the Night's Watch.

However, this was not the first time that Kit was seen filming in Belfast. He was also spotted last month for filming, which also caused a lot of confusion to fans. Since his character was killed, fans have relentlessly been making up theories about how he will come back.

Some claimed that the red priestess Melisandre will bring Jon Snow back from the dead, while another theory suggested that his spirit will transfer and live inside his dire wolf Ghost.

"The location is signification because it hints at a possible flashback that will reveal the truth about the Jon Snow's parentage," the article stated about Kit Harington's sighting.

Meanwhile, iTV website reported that the HBO series hit it big with the Emmy's this year. "Game of Thrones" is leading this year's awards with 24 nominations. "Downtown Abbey," which received eight nominations, is up against "Game of Thrones" for the Outstanding Drama Series category. Other TV series nominated in the category are "Orange Is the New Black," "Mad Men," "House of Cards," "Better Call Saul," and "Homeland."

The sixth and final season of "Game of Thrones" is rumored to be released in spring of 2016.
