Marilyn Burns Dead at 65, Cause of Death Not Yet Confirmed

Marilyn Burns, the scream queen, was found in her home in Houston dead at 65 and family has not yet released an official statement regarding the cause of death.
According to a family representative, it was sad news that actress Marilyn Burns has passed earlier this morning and further details will be announced later. This has confirmed the death of the actress at the age of 65.

Marilyn Burns gained the spotlight in her career when she played the role of Sally Hardesty, a teenager who traveled with friends and her brother to a cemetery to investigate grave vandalism in the movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
This was Burns' first lead role and the film was a big hit which became one of the most successful films ever.
In 1976, she portrayed the role of Linda Kasabian in the television series "Helter Skelter." Linda was the one who traded her testimony in order to save her family against Charles Manson.
Burns also made a cameo appearance in the latest chapter in the Leatherface's saga - the Texas Chainsaw 3D.
She also played a role in a horror film entitled "Sacrament "in 2014.
Marilyn Burns was born in July 5, 1950 in Erie, Pennsylvania and was raised in Houston.
She has always loved acting which she expressed by participating in school theatrical productions.
She made her first appearance in the film "Brewster McCloud" by Robert Altman while she was attending college at the University of Texas.
In 1971 Marilyn graduated from the said university with a degree in Drama and had gained popularity by playing roles in horror films.
For now, Marilyn's family would like to grieve privately and will release statements as soon as they are ready.
