Twenty months of PDA-ing did not lead to a long-lasting relationship for Joe Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler. The power couple was reported to have broken up. Ladies are probably rejoicing and men might be doing the same thing, too.

Jonas' representative informed US Weekly that the break-up was amicable and that Joe and Blanda remained friends because both have great respect for each other. However, reports from an insider prove this otherwise.

The couple has surprised their fans since both have been very open about how happy their relationship was. They were seen walking the streets of NYC and were pictured by Paparazzi often. The couple looked so content and everything but it seems there's more to it than what they were showing.

According to a reliable source, Blanda, 29, always picked a fight with Joe, 24. The source claims that Joe was not happy with her because of her relentless need to go out and that this drove Joe mad.

Joe was said to have been unhappy for a long time now and that Blanda was the main reason for it. During the Lollapalooza concert in Chicago over the weekend, Joe was not seen with Blanda and the insider says that it was what he needed and it was a nice change.

Joe's family was also reported to not have been fond of Blanda which might have had a hand in the said break-up. The insider adds that the family was always telling Joe that Blanda was just using him. However, Joe did not listen to the qualms of his family.

Another reason was probably because of Blanda's extreme jealousy over every friendship Joe has with other women. The insider dishes that Blanda really hated how women threw themselves at Joe.

Joe is a teenage heartthrob so you can't blame him for women willingly screaming and confessing their love for him. Seems Blanda was a problem girlfriend and it took Joe nearly two years to realize that!
