Ecns reported that the pop singer's red Rolls Royce crashed the Hangzhou Public Transport Group bus when it made a right turn at an intersection between the Yan'an and Qingchun road. The accident reportedly led to damages worth around 2,000 Yuan ($322.2)

All parties involved in the accident have negotiated and agreed on compensations for the damages. It's not clear if the singer was driving the luxury car at the time of the accident.

Psy, who became a household name following the release of his hit single Gangnam Style in 2012, was on his way to a Hangzhou hotel from the airport in East China's Zhejiang province when the accident occurred. A Porsche, which was leading the Korean singer's convoy, transported Psy to the event after the incident.

According to Yahoo UK news, Psy was visiting the city to attend an opening party for a bar.

YG Entertainment, his management company, announced on Friday that the 38-year-, who is accompanied by his manager and a local employee, is scheduled to travel to Beijing on Friday.

The singer's colorful Gangnam Style video still continues to garner hits with its unique dance move. So far it has been viewed over two billion times by fans all over the world since its release in December 2012.

According to the Mirror, Gangnam Style held the record for the most viewed video on YouTube last year.

Psy has struggled to match the success of Gangnam Style, which rose to Number One in the UK Singles Chart. The song also reached second place in the US charts. Although Gentleman, which was released in 2013, did not match the success of Gangnam Style, it still broke into the UK Top 10.
