Okay fine, we lied about the two getting a baby but Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed did adopt something - a horse. The horse's name is Eagle and he is joining the couple into making a "family".

Nikki snapped a photo of her boyfriend Ian snuggling up to their new baby. The photo was captioned "Proud new dad... What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy."

Wow, OUR and BABY are on the same sentence and these are definitely huge words from the Vampire Diaries star. Nikki is said to be very fond of horseback riding and it seems as though Ian is joining her on that.

Ian and Nikki have been friends many years and their love for each other has been seen all over the internet for the past month. Their relationship has definitely taken on a higher level and it seems they are very happy together. Seems the two animal lovers are hitting it off!
