Director Tyler Perry is asking everyone for prayers as well as respect for Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, who has been in the hospital for quite some time now.

The writer-director who has been a close friend of the family, has called out the disrespect done by the media and some people, with Reuters reporting that TMZ has mentioned a photo being sold to different media outlets showing a woman in a hospice bed. Completely distraught, Perry calls for a little respect not only for the family of Bobbi Kristina, but for the others in the hospice.

This was amid rumors that the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown was already dead. Zee News India reports that Tyler Perry was distressed how every news outlet wanted to be the first to report that the child had died. He also said that he finds it disheartening that even the fans take joy and excitement in reading the demise of a well-loved figure, with coercion from the media that celebrates the darkness and tragedy of these celebrities.

One important factor that fueled these rumors were the presence of a white tent appearing outside the hospice. iSchool Guide reports that several hearses arrived at the place, with family members coming in the facility. However, the receptionist did confirm that there were no deaths that occurred last Wednesday, and that Bobbi Kristina was very much alive.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is still alive, but reportedly is pretty much a losing battle. However, this does not give the media the license to exploit the family regarding her death. The call-out of Tyler Perry is something that could help dissuade the news outlets when the time does come, and hopefully when it does, more prayers are given to the family than tweets and news tributes.
