As the world begins the countdown to the much awaited launch of the Windows 10 operating system, the recent update from the makers points out that users who accept Windows 10 and agree to the license conditions will sign up for a clause, in which, will make them eligible to receive updates without any prior notification.

According to Tech Firstpost, that users agreeing to update to Microsoft Windows 10 will also by default agree to receiving future updates. The only challenge is that these updates will come to the user's system without any prior notification. This condition has been included as a clause in the agreement that users will have to accept before updating to the new Windows 10.
Previously, customers who were using the Windows 8.1 version were able to make a choice wherein they had to decide when to reboot and whether or not to accept the update. But with Windows 10, this liberty to choose is most likely to disappear. This condition is mentioned in the End User License Agreement displayed to the user at the time of downloading Windows 10.
While the problem may not appear so huge in the beginning, it is likely to end up as a cause of concern for those who are struggling with limited bandwidth. This is because, the operating system will no longer seek their permission before updating. Though the security patches for Windows that comes every week are small, the system updates could be big files going into several hundred kilo bytes and such downloads will consume a large part of the user bandwidth.
As of now, this rule will apply exclusively to the users of the home edition while those opting for the business edition will still have the liberty to choose. This means that business edition users will get to decide whether they want to opt for downloading security patches or update the system entirely.
Another report on Top Tech News indicates that after Windows 10, the makers will continue to launch regular updates for the service as part of its practice. From amongst the many features that Microsoft is promoting prior to the launch of Windows 10, one is the return of the Start menu, a factor that is sorely being missed by the Windows 8 users.
