A 21-year-old man died in the pool of actress Demi Moore after her assistant threw a party at the residential area. Times Live reported that when the police arrived the unconscious man was already being taken care of by the paramedics; however, still at the scene, he was soon pronounced dead soon after. Police did mention that the man had no knowledge on how to swim, and accidentally slipped into the pool.

Demi Moore was in initial shock after hearing about the news. The Irish Examiner reported that the 52-year-old was out of the country to attend to a birthday celebration with her daughters, calling the incident an unthinkable strategy. She says her heart goes to the man's family, and she asks everyone to respect the privacy of everyone concerned during these troubled times.

The man, who has been identified as Edenilson Steven Valle, was reportedly missing for ten to fifteen minutes before being found by friends on the pool, face down. TMZ reported that despite all odds, there was no foul play involved. The assistant and others exited the premises and left the victim alone, to which they eventually found him on the deep end. There was alcohol available to the guests, but there was a very limited amount.

Though already cleared from foul play, it cannot be removed from the minds of the people as to how a person who does not know how to swim be left alone beside a pool. Still, as Demi Moore said, people should respect the surviving family and friends until they have released their statements on the matter. Overall, people should be more careful on throwing pool parties given that not everyone can swim, especially if the pool that they will be using is in the residence of a Hollywood star.
